Le immagini che sono apparse in serata sul sito del governo russo che riguardano la video conferenza di questa mattina che ha coinvolto anche il premier turco Recep Tayyip Erdogan, ne sono la prova. Putin e Berlusconi erano seduti su poltroncine dorate del Settecento davanti a un caminetto, abito scuro e cravatta d’ordinanza per entrambi. Solo gli interpreti al fianco. Così pure Erdogan, come mostrava lo schermo a fianco. Anche le riprese erano tutt’altro che informali, ma fatte con almeno tre telecamere ed una attenta regia.
I consiglieri davanti ai due interlocutori presenti nella dacia, ma a debita distanza. Come si conviene nei più formali degli incontri internazionali.
Anche se la forma, talvolta e soprattutto nei rapporti diplomatici, è sostanza, il peso dell’incontro è dato soprattutto dai temi trattati.
Nella videoconferenza si è parlato di energia, gasdotti ed oleodotti e di approvvigionamento energetico dell’Europa, uno dei temi più caldi a livello mondiale. Un tema che coinvolge direttamente anche gli Stati Uniti e che in Europa ha finora causato divisioni e, per l’Italia, un certo isolamento.

E proprio oggi, a Mosca, secondo agenzie russe, l’amministratore delegato Paolo Scaroni ha incontrato il suo omologo russo di Gazprom Alexei Miller. Insomma la geopolitica dell’energia potrebbe star per conoscere in queste ore novità decisive. Come reagiranno gli americani?
Putin e Berlusconi hanno poi detto di aver parlato dei maggiori problemi internazionali, crisi iraniana compresa. Su questo fronte caldissimo gli americani hanno assolutamente bisogno dei russi per non conoscere il primo tracollo mondiale dell’amministrazione di Barack Obama.
