Baseball Base Running Tips: Do You Know When Not To Slide Into Second Base?
If you are a runner on first base and a ground ball is headed to the second baseman, make a quick observation as to where the second baseman is going to field the ball. If the second baseman has to go pretty far to his left to field the grounder, it would be very wise for you not to slide into second base.
If you slide, you are opening up a throwing lane for the second baseman to throw to his shortstop. A much better choice is avoid sliding and run slightly to the right side of the baseline. It’s one of the better baseball base running tips that not too many base runners put to good use. By not sliding and running on the right side of the base line, there is a very good chance that when the second baseman fields the grounder, he will look toward second base and see you and not be able to see his shortstop. A simple thing like this can create chaos for the team in the field.
One possibility is that the second baseman will not even attempt to get the force out at second base and the base runner will now be in scoring position. Another possibility is that if the second baseman does attempt the throw to second base, he will alter his throw because he has to either get it over the base runner or around him. He could very well throw the ball away and you may now have two runners on with one less out. Just a little simple thing like that creates an entirely different scenario and this simple thing can lead to a big inning and a big inning often determines the outcome of a game. Most people in attendance at the game, including players, coaches and teammates won’t even notice what happened because it is a very good play that not too many players or coaches are aware of. Sometimes it seems like too much emphasis is placed on baseball tips on hitting and baseball pitching tips but don’t ever overlook baseball fielding tips and baseball base running tips as well. They can often determine the outcome of a game also.
Another time to at least consider not sliding into second base is if you are on first base and a pick off throw gets away from the first baseman. When the pick off throw gets away, immediately look over your right shoulder and make a very quick determination as to where you think the team in the field will actually pick up the ball. If you think the ball will be fielded far enough away that you can possibly go to third base, you do not want to slide into second base and waste time getting up from sliding and then consider going to third base. Be sure to take that all important very quick look over your shoulder and make a very quick decision as to where you think the ball will be fielded.
These are two very good baseball base running tips that unfortunately, very few know about. Show everyone how well schooled you are!

When CityVille Guides began popping up I was quite sceptical about the whole thing. I had never ever truly played the game myself but I figured that there couldn’t be all that much to it. How much strategy could actually go into creating a virtual city? When I saw all the hype about cityville and the truth that there were these guides I figured there must be some thing to Cityville after all.
Cityville turned out to be considerably more complex and enjoyable than I had figured it would be. There are many possibilities, buildings, crops and additions that you have so many decisions to make. The more I got into playing Cityville the more I recognized that the strategies concerned were significantly more complicated than I had anticipated. I did not want to spend time using trial and error to get the finest possible city. I wanted somebody to do all that for me so I went out and purchased a guide.
The guide I ended up getting is named Cityville Domination. I had heard some very good things about it and it seemed like the most logical selection. Cityville Domination is relatively new and they update it continuously so it includes the most current additions to the game and will add new updates as Cityville adds new attributes. I wasn’t expecting too much from this guide as I have bought game guides in the past the have just been common.
Cityville Domination however, totally blew me away! I had no idea how they could have so much detailed information, techniques and strategies when Cityville is nevertheless new.
As soon as I commenced implementing the Cityville techniques, tips, and methods I went from a level 8 to a level 29 in only a week of fairly little gameplay. There is a more going on in Cityville than meets the eye and if you don’t do things effectively you could be lacking out on plenty of coins and knowledge while playing more than you need too. For people who have no idea what CityVille is, here’s a quick run down. The people who make the games you either love or love to hate on Facebook have a new one coming out in a number of weeks. It’s known as CityVille, which seems to be like Sim City without having the tornadoes or FarmVille with skyscrapers. You’re a city planner, beginning with a plot of land and the potential to construct buildings on it. Zynga lists houses, post offices, fire departments, schools, restaurants and shops with the goal of making money. They don’t mention crime or wretched subway service, so it’s not clear what the CityVille equivalent of dying crops or FrontierVille varmints will be. Civil unrest, maybe? The cities expand and upgrade of course, which is the primary hook. The more you play the more building alternatives you get, the more goods you can receive and so on.
